When people are about to go away for a long time, it’s always interesting to see who makes an effort to stay a big part of your life and who doesn’t.

Hey! I'm Cassidy and I turn 20 on July 2nd. As you read this, I'm somewhere in the mountains of Eurasia spying for the government (or, I'm teaching swimming at a summer camp in rural Maine). Either way, I'm on the biggest adventure of my life. In August, I'll return to the big bad streets of southern Arizona for my last semester of college. After graduation? I'm not really sure yet. I could be in New York City pursuing a career in sketch comedy, or I could be in grad school getting a teaching degree, or I could be somewhere in the mountains of Eurasia spying for the government. Whatever life decides to hurl at me, I'm going to face it head on with too many bracelets on my wrists and a chapstick in my pocket. I wish I could say I know what's going to happen next, but I'm coming to realize how wonderful it is that I can't. I'm just going to keep drinking my iced tea and laugh my way through life until I come across my purpose. What can I say? You only live once, and I want to make sure that once is enough.
